We believe that provider education and training make an important and necessary contribution to community health. Provider education and training programs foster improved understanding of the psychology of and appropriate nutrition for feeding children, which is not generally discussed in medical school or residency programs.

Dr. Patricia also conducts training for providers at the OC Health Care Agency, school districts and hospitals, focusing on provider education tools regarding weight management issues.
